Juneteenth: Focus Group on Black Business

My name is Jessica Norwood and I am the founder of RUNWAY, a national financial innovation firm that invests in Black entrepreneurs. I am hosting a few sessions to understand the business ecosystem in Mobile, Alabama. Your experience as a business owner has been powerful to witness. That is why I want to hear your ideas, opinions and experience as an entrepreneur.

The focus of my report is on financing Black companies. But, I am also curious about what made you start your company, what kind of support you received along the way and what you need today. Your insights will help us shape the way we work with Black companies in Mobile County.

The focus group will last one (1) hour. Participants will help us understand the unique needs of Black founders in Mobile County. The dates for the focus group conversations are June 20, 21, and 22rd.
