We are the business and economic portal for the Africatown Region.

We are all connected

If you think about it, we are all connected. The Africatown Region headquartered in Prichard, Alabama just a few miles from Mobile is a Quilombos. So is the Crenshaw community in LA. All of us are striving to become more like the Quilombo.

Each Maroon community - from Crenshaw to Suriname, from Africatown to the Quilombo in Brazil, are ready to heal and reconnect economically.

The Port of Africatown is ideally located right on the US shore so that the potential for a port of global commerce for cocoa beans from Ghana - to become a center for imports and exports from Suriname, Brazil, and African nations, becoming a cultural center of Africanism - that is the vision.

So we begin.

July 24, 2021 - Prichard Alabama
